Below you will find information to help you navigate the path to begining your master's program at CSON. Select your program to see key steps, important dates, financial aid information, and more. 

Step 1

Accept offer of admission

Complete digital reply form (located within acceptance letter) and submit a $750 deposit by the due dates on your acceptance letter.

Step 2

Apply for Financial Aid

Complete FAFSA and the BC Financial Aid Application. View instructions.

 

Step 3

Attend Admitted Student Day

Join us for an optional admitted student session on February 23, 2019. 

Step 4

Prepare to start

 

Complete CPR certification, get required immunizations, (Graduate full time option) and send in completed prerequisites by June 30.

Checklist

  • Complete digital reply form (located within your acceptance letter) to accept offer of admission 
  • Submit $750 deposit to hold your place
  • RSVP to Admitted Students Day - invitation located in acceptance email 
  • Get CPR certified at the healthcare provider level to cover adults, children, and infants prior to enrolling in classes. Send a copy of your card to the CSON Clinical Placement Office at csoncp@bc.edu
  • Send-in proof of required immunizations and health forms (Graduate full time option) to university health services as well as all completed prerequisite transcripts prior to June 30, 2019
  • Boston College’s medical insurance coverage does not begin until August 2019
  • Complete criminal background check during August summer session
  • Purchase required materials before courses begin:
    • Name pin
    • Order through the BC Bookstore—call the store at 800-978-0978 to order and allow 2 weeks time 
    • White or black professional looking shoes, clogs, or sneakers
    • Stethoscope with a bell and diaphram
    • Littman Cardiology III is recommended, but not required
    • Watch with a second hand
    • Blood pressure cuff (latex free)
    • Books (available at the BC Bookstore)
    • Maroon scrubs (any shade of maroon is acceptable)

Step 3

Plan out your course of study

After submitting your deposit, you will receive an email to schedule an appointment with the graduate programs office to plan your course of study.

Prepare to start 

Get required immunizations by August 19, 2019. Review resources below.
