The Preferred Application Deadline for the Spring semester is November 1. Applicants that apply by this date are given preferential consideration for any available scholarship funding. After this date, applicants that complete an application will be notified of their admission decision within three weeks and will be considered for scholarship if funding is still available.

All Ph.D. programs begin in the Fall semester only. The Ed.D. in Educational Leadership (PSAP) program admits a cohort only every other year with the next cohort beginning in Summer 2021.

Applicants interested in certificate programs and those interested in enrolling in individual courses for professional development or other purposes will be handled on a Rolling Basis. This means that, once the application form and any required documents are received, processing of the application will happen continually throughout the year, and applicants can expect to hear from the Lynch School within three weeks of being submitted.
Applying to a graduate program can be a costly process, particularly for those applying to multiple graduate programs. Knowing that cost can be the determining factor between not attending graduate school and achieving one's dream, the Lynch School offers application fee waivers for select applicants. Fee waivers are approved based on verified answers to questions in your graduate application and no forms or formal requests are necessary. Fee waivers are offered for the following groups of applicants:
The Office of Graduate Admission and Financial Aid will also review application fee waiver requests for financial reasons on a case-by-case basis. In general, only applicants to Master's degree programs are eligible for a fee waiver. Fee waivers are not normally granted for doctoral applicants that identify a lack of funds related to being a current graduate student as the reason for their financial need, since the majority of our doctoral applicants fall into this category. Admission for non-degree students is rolling. We do encourage applications to be submitted as soon as possible prior to the first day of the semester. As a non-degree applicant you are not required to: upload any documents or pay the $75 application fee.
